No período de 23 e 27 de outubro, os agentes apreenderam 446 gramas de entorpecentes, R$ 420,20 em dinheiro e prenderam seis pessoas.

O Programa “Centro Mais Seguro” tem como objetivo proporcionar sensação de segurança à população, combater atividades criminosas, como o tráfico de drogas, e coibir furtos e roubos.

Desde o início da semana passada, 66 novos guardas municipais estão no patrulhamento a pé pela Rua 13 de Maio, Terminal Central e imediações e em áreas com grande circulação de pessoas.

A Comandante da corporação, Maria de Lourdes Soares, destacou que além um reforço no efetivo, a modalidade aproxima a Guarda Municipal da população e comerciantes.

“As pessoas abordam os guardas, pedem auxílio e conversam com os agentes. Esta aproximação com a comunidade também faz parte do trabalho da corporação”
