A ocorrência aconteceu nesta quinta-feira (2) no Pronto-Socorro Dr. Edson Mano, em Santa Bárbara d’Oeste (SP).

De acordo com o relato da vítima, uma doméstica de 49 anos, o médico a olhou de forma diferente desde o início da consulta.

A paciente alega que ele fez diversos comentários desrespeitosos e durante o exame físico de palpação abdominal, acariciou suas regiões íntimas. Após o exame, o médico ainda teria a abraçado forte e dado dois beijos.

Assim que saiu da sala de consulta, a doméstica chamou a Polícia Militar (PM). A equipe conversou com o médico, mas ele negou os fatos.

A PM notificou o diretor e a assistente social do pronto-socorro sobre o caso, e eles prestaram o devido apoio e cooperação na ação policial.

A polícia comunicou o caso de importunação sexual na Delegacia de Defesa da Mulher (DDM) e o suspeito vai responder em liberdade.

Em nota, a prefeitura afirmou que repudia qualquer tipo de assédio. “Diante do ocorrido, o profissional foi preventivamente afastado e instaurado um procedimento interno para apurar os fatos”, acrescentou.
