A vítima de 27 anos foi identificada como Davi da Silva Santos.

De acordo com o Corpo de Bombeiros, o acidente aconteceu por volta das 16h30, quando Davi estava trabalhando na construção de um barracão.

Por conta do forte temporal que atingiu a cidade, duas paredes com cerca de 7 metros desabaram e uma delas caiu sobre a vítima.

O dono da obra passou mal após ir ao local e saber da morte do pedreiro e precisou de socorro médico.

A Defesa Civil e a Polícia Científica realizaram perícia para tentar identificar o motivo da queda das paredes.
