Os dados são oficiais e foram apresentados no relatório estatístico da Secretaria de Segurança Pública do Estado de São Paulo.

O número de roubos teve queda de 23% e o de furtos queda de 13% (maior índice da região).

Os dados vão ao encontro de outros índices alcançados pelo município, que apontam Santa Bárbara d’Oeste com as menores de taxas de delito por 100 mil habitantes na região durante o ano de 2022.

A cidade também foi considerada a mais segura do Estado de São Paulo de acordo com o Instituto Sou da Paz em 2021 – ranking que avalia 141 cidades com mais de 50 mil habitantes.
