A prisão foi feita por policiais civis da 2ª Delegacia de Investigações sobre Entorpecentes (Dise), da Divisão Especializada de Investigações Criminais (DEIC) de Campinas (SP).

De acordo com a Polícia Civil (PC), após investigações sobre o comércio de drogas
na região de Campinas, os policiais da Dise conseguiram informações de um veículo GM Prisma que seria utilizado na entrega de drogas a granel em diversos pontos da cidade.

Com as características do veículo, as equipes realizaram diligências em Hortolândia, onde o veículo está registrado.

A partir desse trabalho, os policiais conseguiram encontrar o carro e passaram a realizar o acompanhamento do veículo pela cidade.

Logo depois, a abordagem foi feita e no banco traseiro do veiculo, a polícia encontrou quatro fardos com diversos tabletes de maconha, pesando aproximadamente 50 quilos.

O criminoso recebeu voz de prisão e os investigadores o conduziram até à sede da DEIC em Campinas, onde o abordado permaneceu preso.

As investigações prosseguem para identificar mais traficantes que estão agindo na cidade.
