A ocorrência foi atendida pelo 10º Batalhão da Polícia Militar do Estado de São Paulo (BAEP).

Durante patrulhamento pela cidade, a equipe visualizou um veículo HB20 com placas de Guarulhos (SP), que ao notar a presença da viatura, a condutora freou o veículo repentinamente e demonstrou nervosismo incomum, chamando a atenção, motivo pelo qual foi realizado a abordagem.

Foi realizada a busca veicular, nada de ilícito foi localizado, porém ao verificar os sinais de identificação do veículo, foram constatados diversos sinais de adulterações. Pesquisado o número de câmbio, constou de um veículo produto de furto na cidade de Limeira (SP).

A motorista foi interrogada sobre a procedência do veículo, a mesma relatou que comprou de um conhecido há 30 dias, pelo valor de R$ 30 mil.

O caso foi encaminhado à Central de Polícia Judiciária (CPJ), onde a mulher permaneceu à disposição da Justiça pelo crime de receptação.
