A vítima, identificada como Renato Varoni, realizava uma manutenção quando foi prensado contra um pilar de concreto.

Segundo a montadora, ele trabalhava no elevador que fica no restaurante da área de produção da multinacional, conhecido como ‘carga suja’.

Durante a manutenção, outro equipamento, chamado ‘carga limpa’, por motivos que ainda serão apurados, subiu e prensou o técnico contra um pilar de concreto.

O Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) atendeu a ocorrência, mas o homem não resistiu e morreu no local.

Em nota, a Honda lamentou o ocorrido e disse que colabora com as investigações.

“A Honda está colaborando com as investigações e as causas do acidente estão sendo apuradas pela perícia e autoridades policiais”, afirma.

A Polícia Civil deverá apurar o caso, assim como o Ministério Público do Trabalho, que deverá instaurar um inquérito sobre o acidente.
