O local em que o cadáver foi encontrado pertence ao bairro Ribeirão do Meio, área rural do município.

A Polícia Militar (PM) foi acionada ao local por volta das 13h10, depois que o morador de um sítio afirmou ter encontrado um cadáver boiando no rio. De acordo com esse morador, o corpo estava boiando em meio a vários galhos, de barriga para cima. O homem é branco e usava um relógio dourado no pulso esquerdo. Ele estava sem calça, sem sapato e sem documento de identificação.

Embora o corpo ainda não tenha sido identificado, a polícia apura se a vítima trata-se de Guilherme Henrique de Jesus, de 21 anos. Ele desapareceu na última segunda-feira, dia 1, após cair no rio enquanto dirigia pela Rodovia Governador Adhemar Pereira de Barros (SP-342), em Mogi-Guaçu.

O cadáver foi retirado do rio por uma equipe do Corpo de Bombeiros.
