O acidente aconteceu quando a vítima tentou trocar a faixa de direção em que seguia.

Conforme apuração do Policial Padrão, o motorista é de Monte Mor (SP) e seguia em uma van pela Rodovia Heitor Penteado sentido bairro Gramado.

Ele contou à polícia que seguia pela faixa esquerda e ao tentar trocar de faixa, acabou de frente com outro veículo. Para evitar a colisão frontal, o motorista virou bruscamente e bateu no poste.

A batida deixou o poste de energia totalmente destruído e danificou a frente do veículo.

O motorista reclamou de dores na mão esquerda, mas recusou atendimento da unidade de resgate que foi ao local.

Como toda a documentação da vítima e da van estavam em ordem, a PM os liberou após o registro do caso.
