Dois homens foram detidos.

Segundo a polícia, a ação ocorreu em Santa Cruz do Rio Pardo, durante fiscalização das equipes do 2º Batalhão de Polícia Rodoviária (BPRv), pela rodovia SP-225.

Um carro modelo Fiat Palio, ocupado por dois homens foi abordado e em busca veicular, foram localizadas diversas caixas com cigarros de origem paraguaia, sem nota fiscal.

Questionados, um dos suspeitos contou que adquiriu a mercadoria de um terceiro, na cidade de Cambará (PR) para revender no município de Piracicaba.

A carga e o veículo foram apreendidos e os dois homens detidos em flagrante. O caso foi apresentado na Delegacia de Polícia Federal de Marília (SP), onde a dupla foi autuada e permaneceu à disposição da Justiça.
