A equipe abordou o veículo na Rodovia Walter Manzato (SPA-127), vicinal que liga Sumaré a Nova Odessa (SP).

De acordo com a polícia, a abordagem aconteceu na altura no quilômetro 5, durante a ‘Operação Direção Segura’, que é uma fiscalização de rotina.

O condutor da moto, não portava nada ilegal. No entanto, ele apresentou apenas o RG como identificação e a equipe descobriu que ele não possuía habilitação.

Além disso, a moto que ele conduzia, uma Yamaha YBR 125, estava com a numeração do chassi praticamente apagada.

O condutor alegou que comprou a moto em um leilão e recebeu voz de prisão pelo crime de adulteração de sinal de identificação veicular.

O caso foi registrado na delegacia de Sumaré.
