O material já estava fracionado e seria distribuído pela região.

De acordo com a polícia, o trabalho de investigação começou em junho, após a apreensão de 50 quilos de maconha em Hortolândia (SP). Desse modo, os agentes identificaram o barracão onde estavam as drogas, localizado na Rua Alcides Modesto de Camargo, no Parque Santa Bárbara.

A equipe monitorou o local e notou a chegada de uma grande quantidade de drogas, além da entrada de veículos que seriam usados na distribuição do material.

Durante a operação, a polícia prendeu oito pessoas em flagrante e apreendeu 4,1 mil tabletes de maconha, que já estavam nos veículos.

A perícia esteve no local e o caso foi apresentado na 2° Delegacia de Investigação Sobre Entorpecentes (Dise).
