A motivação do crime teria sido um caso de traição da vítima com a esposa do autor.

Conforme apuração do Policial Padrão, o atropelamento aconteceu por volta das 21h, no cruzamento da Avenida de Cillo com a Rua das Paineiras.

Uma testemunha relatou à polícia que o motorista de um Chevrolet Montana passou por ela em alta velocidade e bateu na moto, arremessando o veículo contra um poste.

Logo depois, o motorista saiu do carro e começou a chutar a cabeça do motoboy. Populares foram em defesa da vítima para impedir a situação e o motorista correu até uma farmácia.

Quando a Polícia Militar (PM) chegou no local, a vítima contou que conhece o motorista, pois teve um caso extraconjugal com a esposa dele. Ainda segundo o motoboy, desde que descobriu a traição, o homem fez ameaças de morte contra ele.

O Corpo de Bombeiros socorreu a vítima para o Hospital Samaritano. A CPFL também esteve no local do acidente, pois houve danos na fiação.

A PM encontrou o autor escondido na farmácia. A princípio, ele confessou que fez tudo intencionalmente porque queria matar o motoboy.

No entanto, acabou mudando a versão, alegando que apenas atingiu a moto ao tentar abordar o outro homem e depois se escondeu por medo.

O motorista foi conduzido até a Central de Polícia Judiciária (CPJ). O delegado ouviu os fatos e determinou a prisão em flagrante por tentativa de homicídio.
