O crime aconteceu por volta das 14h na região do Jardim Santa Mônica.

De acordo com apuração do Policial Padrão, o motorista de 30 anos havia acabado de fazer uma entrega na Rua Francisco de Araújo quando um Gol ocupado por dois homens parou perto dele.

Um deles estava armado e anunciou o assalto. A dupla rendeu a vítima e pretendia roubar a van acreditando estar carregada.

No entanto, quando o motorista disse que todos os pacotes estavam sobre o banco do passageiro, os bandidos pegaram a maioria deles e fugiram sentido Jardim São Marcos.

A vítima chamou a Polícia Militar (PM) e repassou as características dos bandidos para o registro da ocorrência. Não há informações sobre a quantidade ou valores da carga roubada.
