Usando uma réplica de arma, o bandido surpreendeu a vítima que chegava em casa no bairro Jardim Dall’Orto.

De acordo com informações iniciais, a vítima estava com a família na Rua Goianésia no carro, quando o criminoso se aproximou. Ele chegou pelas costas do agente e com uma réplica de arma, anunciou o assalto.

O guarda reagiu e lutou contra o bandido, até que conseguiu sacar a arma e atirar. Os disparos atingiram o ombro do criminoso. Já o agente e seus familiares não ficaram feridos.

Diversas equipes da Guarda Municipal seguiram até o local da ocorrência e uma equipe do Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) socorreu o bandido.

Ele ficou internado sob escolta policial no Hospital Estadual de Sumaré.
