Policiais do 10º Batalhão de Ações Especiais de Polícia (Baep) localizaram o criminoso após denúncia sobre disparos nas ruas do Parque Santo Antônio, região do Nova Veneza.

Em posse da descrição do suspeito, os policiais seguiram até o local indicado por volta das 21h. Quando chegaram na Rua João da Silva, a equipe viu o homem, mas ele tentou fugir por uma área verde.

Os policiais acompanharam o suspeito e o viram descartar a arma, o abordando logo em seguida. A arma descartada era um revólver Taurus calibre .32 com três munições intactas e duas deflagradas.

A equipe checou os antecedentes do abordado e descobriu que ele tinha saído da prisão há pouco tempo, onde cumpria pena por três homicídios.

Diante das evidências, ele foi detido em flagrante por porte ilegal de arma e retornou ao sistema prisional.
