Segundo a polícia, o indivíduo tentou matar um policial civil daquele estado.

A prisão aconteceu na Rua Mercúrio, após uma denúncia via 190. Os Soldados Dário e Portari abordaram o suspeito no local, mas inicialmente ele se apresentou com um nome falso.

Após algum tempo de entrevista, ele acabou revelando a verdadeira identidade e o mandado de prisão foi confirmado.

Ainda segundo a PM, o homem responde por um crime ocorrido em julho de 2012, quando junto com um comparsa, roubou a moto do primo de um policial civil e atirou contra a vítima, que se jogou no chão e não foi atingida.

O policial estava próximo ao local e ao flagrar a dupla criminosa, sacou a arma e deu voz de prisão. Houve trocas de tiros e ele acabou baleado, mas sobreviveu.

O foragido foi encaminhado pela PM até a Central de Polícia Judiciária (CPJ) e ficou detido à disposição da Justiça.
