O caso aconteceu na região da Comunidade Esperança, que fica no bairro Novo Horizonte, em Piracicaba (SP).

De acordo com a corporação, por volta das 11h, uma equipe em patrulhamento flagrou dois suspeitos na Rua Pedro de Oliveira. Um deles tinha uma bolsa de onde pegou drogas e entregou ao outro.

Após o flagrante, a equipe tentou abordar a dupla, mas ela correu para o interior da comunidade, em sentidos opostos.

Os agentes priorizaram o suspeito que estava com as drogas e fizeram a abordagem, após ele sofrer uma queda. Na bolsa dele, havia 248 pinos com cocaína e R$ 60.

Ainda segundo a GCM, o abordado confessou que vendia as drogas naquela área há dois dias. Ele recebeu voz de prisão pelo crime e a equipe o encaminhou para atendimento médico antes de apresentar o caso.

Logo depois, a ocorrência foi registrada no plantão policial e o traficante ficou detido.
