Os policiais receberam denúncias sobre a presença de dois indivíduos em atitude suspeita nas proximidades de um mercado localizado na Rua Washington Luís.

Na abordagem, um dos abordados informou um nome falso aos policiais e os suspeitos alegaram serem pai e filho. Quando o suposto pai foi questionado sobre o filho, ele entregou o nome verdadeiro do suspeito.

Uma pesquisa sobre a real identidade do abordado foi feita junto ao Centro de Operações da PM (Copom) e constatou que o homem estava foragido da Justiça.

Ele se recusou a apresentar documentos físicos e também, a fornecer informações sobre a identidade pessoal.

Ele foi levado ao Distrito Policial (DP) do município, onde permaneceu preso. Já o pai dele, foi ouvido e liberado.
