Os carros estavam em uma área que fica no limite do município com a cidade de Hortolândia (SP).

Os veículos são modelos SUV e a polícia deve tentar rastrear o percurso realizado pelos automóveis para tentar mais informações sobre os criminosos.

Após atirarem contra os vigilantes e atingirem um caminhoneiro, os criminosos pegaram malotes com R$ 2 milhões que eram transportados, atearam fogo no carro-forte e fugiram. Ninguém foi preso até o momento.

O Departamento Estadual de Investigações Criminais (Deic) está investigando o caso e suspeita que a quadrilha seja especializada neste tipo de ação. Além disso, a apuração avalia se houve vazamento de informações, já que a empresa foi alvo de um ataque semelhante na mesma região em maio.

Sobre o ataque

O crime aconteceu por volta de 19h de terça-feira (15), na altura do km 125 do sentido capital da Rodovia dos Bandeirantes (SP-348), próximo a um posto de combustíveis em Santa Bárbara.

A quadrilha emparelhou com o carro-forte e atirou usando armamento era de grosso calibre. Cinco pessoas ficaram feridas e os bandidos fugiram levando cerca de R$ 2 milhões, além de atearem fogo no veículo.
