Um homem de 37 anos, dono de um dos estabelecimentos, foi preso por receptação de 250 kg de fios de cobre furtados da CPFL.

De acordo com a polícia, as equipes visitaram 10 ferros-velhos nos bairros Vila Nogueira, Jardim Itatinga, Campos Elíseos, Bom Sucesso e Vila Lunardi.

A ação nomeada como “Fio da Meada” tinha como objetivo combater o mercado ilegal de venda de fios de cobre furtados da rede elétrica.
