O Governo de São Paulo autorizou, nesta terça-feira (21), a contratação de 5,4 mil policiais militares para o Estado. Os profissionais serão selecionados por meio de concursos públicos. O objetivo é programar a reposição do efetivo.

A medida foi divulgada no Diário Oficial do Estado (DOE) e o próximo passo será a abertura de edital para que os interessados possam se inscrever para a realização da prova. As vagas são para soldados de 2ª classe e a abertura do concurso deve respeitar a suficiência orçamentaria e os preceitos legais.

Novos policiais

Atualmente, já estão em formação mais de 4,2 mil novos policiais militares, sendo 3.554 soldados de 2ª classe e 661 alunos oficiais.
