O caso aconteceu na tarde de segunda-feira (4).

Segundo a polícia, a equipe encontrou o material sem notas fiscais durante abordagem de um carro no km 539, no sentido oeste da rodovia.

O motorista, de 30 anos, ficou nervoso durante a abordagem e chamou a atenção dos policiais. Eles vistoriaram o carro e encontraram a carga de 225 celulares estrangeiros, avaliada em mais de R$ 200 mil.

A polícia apreendeu o veículo e os aparelhos e apresentou o caso na Delegacia da Receita Federal, em Presidente Prudente (SP). Já o motorista foi indiciado e responderá em liberdade pelo crime de descaminho.
