A ação teve apoio da Guarda Municipal e apreendeu veículos, armas, drogas, aparelhos eletrônicos e joias.

De acordo com a polícia, a operação recebeu o nome de “Guia” e teve o objetivo de desarticular uma organização criminosa envolvida em roubos a residências na região.

Durante a ação, as equipes cumpriram 16 mandados judiciais e prenderam sete pessoas. Além disso, houve a apreensão de um carro importado blindado, uma motocicleta, uma pistola calibre 9mm, munições, maconha, ecstasy, balança, celulares e outros objetos roubados.

A maioria das ações aconteceu na região do bairro Praia Azul, em Americana. Entre os detidos, quatro permaneceram presos e foram encaminhados à Cadeia Pública de Sumaré (SP).
