De acordo com o coordenador regional e diretor da Defesa Civil de Campinas, Sidnei Furtado, que está acompanhando o caso, os moradores poderão retornar ao prédio assim que a Polícia Militar e o Exército concluam a remoção os escombros.

“Devido à explosão, no meio dos escombros, ainda pode haver munição. Isso requer cautela na remoção dos resíduos. Esse trabalho está sendo feito pela Polícia Militar com apoio do Exército“, explicou Sidnei.

A Semurb vai manter a interdição do primeiro pavimento do prédio. O edifício tem 31 unidades e 74 moradores.
