Ele foi socorrido com ferimentos leves e permaneceu em observação na Santa Casa do município.

A Polícia Militar (PM) foi acionada por volta das 15h, no cruzamento entre as ruas General Osório e Siqueira Campos. A vítima, que apresentava lesões leves pelo corpo, foi socorrida e levada à Santa Casa de Pirassununga.

Durante o atendimento no local do acidente, os policiais realizaram o teste do etilômetro no condutor do táxi e o resultado foi negativo.

Segundo o idoso, ele caminhava pela calçada quando atravessou a Rua General Osório e foi atropelado pelo carro. Já o condutor do carro, disse que ao passar pelo cruzamento o sol ofuscou a visão dele e o acidente aconteceu.

A Polícia Civil (PC) investiga o caso.
