O acidente aconteceu no Ski Mountain Park, um ponto turístico da região de São Roque. A professora Luciana Cerri, de 42 anos, estava com o filho de 7 anos no colo no momento do acidente.

Segundo relato de testemunhas, as vítimas estavam na parte final do brinquedo quando ultrapassaram uma barreira e bateram em uma estrutura de ferro.

Os funcionários do parque encaminharam as vítimas para a Santa Casa da cidade. Porém, a mulher não resistiu aos ferimentos e morreu na unidade médica. A criança teve lesões no rosto e depois foi transferida ao Hospital São Francisco, onde está internada.

A polícia científica esteve no parque para realizar a perícia e o caso será investigado pela Polícia Civil.

Em nota publicada nas redes sociais, o Ski Mountain Park informou que o parque permaneceu fechado durante o fim de semana, em respeito às vítimas. O tobogã segue interditado.

O caso foi registrado como morte acidental e lesão corporal.
