Com apoio do Centro de Operações e Inteligência (COI) da corporação, viaturas realizaram um patrulhamento estratégico em pontos-chave da cidade.

Logo após receber a denúncia sobre o crime, a divisão de inteligência entrou em ação, coletando e processando dados para traçar um plano de localização.

Equipes foram mobilizadas e durante o patrulhamento pela Estrada da Ecologia, também conhecida como Estrada do Quilombo, encontraram um carro suspeito.

Um veículo que batia com as características do produto de furto, passou em alta velocidade por uma equipe e chamou a atenção por estar sem a placa dianteira. Rapidamente, os agentes fizeram o retorno para realizar a abordagem.

Após um breve acompanhamento, o motorista do veículo perdeu o controle e colidiu com um barranco. O homem saiu do carro e tentou fugir pela mata que cercava o local. Contudo, graças à rápida ação da equipe, acabou detido.

Os guardas conduziram o suspeito e o carro à delegacia de polícia, onde a polícia judiciária tomou as medidas legais. O proprietário recuperou o bem furtado.
