Equipes do município e da cidade de Americana participaram da operação durante a tarde desta quinta-feira (19).

De acordo com informações do Corpo de Bombeiros, o resgate começou por volta das 13h40. Duas viaturas seguiram para o local que fica às margens da Rodovia Luiz de Queiroz (SP-304).

O animal de porte médio, teria caído do precipício da pedreira e ficado ilhado em uma elevação, a aproximadamente 50 metros de altura.

A operação de resgate contou com a participação de cinco bombeiros e durou cerca de duas horas. Eles utilizaram técnicas de rapel para chegar até o cão e fazer o salvamento em segurança.

A corporação destacou que a ocorrência mostrou os conhecimentos técnicos da equipe no cumprimento da missão.  Um trabalho realizado com ‘compromisso na preservação da vida, do patrimônio e do meio ambiente’.
