A fiscalização de embriaguez de condutores é uma das novas competências da GCM de acordo com a nova legislação de trânsito.

A capacitação envolveu aulas de legislação, preenchimento de auto de infração e conhecimento prático operacional. A instrução foi ministrada pelo Sargento Júnior, da Polícia Militar Rodoviária.

Participaram do treinamento todos os inspetores e subinspetores da GCM, com comando, subcomando e também alguns guardas do comando de Valinhos.

De acordo com o secretário de Defesa Social e Mobilidade Urbana de Vinhedo, Osmir Cruz, está sendo projetada uma campanha de conscientização sobre os perigos da embriaguez no trânsito em todo o município, incluindo o envolvimento do ambiente escolar.

“Pretendemos fazer campanhas orientativas entregando um teste de bafômetro para conscientizar a população que infelizmente o Brasil tem um índice alto de mortes em acidente de trânsito sob efeito de álcool”, disse ele.

Os treinamentos de capacitação às novas normas de trânsito continuam nas próximas semanas.
