O crime aconteceu na residência do casal no bairro Santa Terezinha e teria sido motivado por ciúmes.

Conforme apuração do Policial Padrão, o autor de 37 anos, alegou à polícia que perdeu o controle após ter visto mensagens no celular da vítima enviadas a outra pessoa.

O casal discutiu e o homem aplicou um ‘mata-leão’ na companheira até ela parar de respirar. O autor disse à polícia que ficou no local com o corpo da vítima, sem saber o que fazer e chegou a pensar em suicídio. No entanto, ele desistiu da ideia e por volta das 17h30 ligou para o 190 e se entregou.

Ele foi preso em flagrante e encaminhado para o Plantão Policial. De acordo com a PM, o homem já possui antecedentes por receptação e violência doméstica. Agora, ele vai responder por feminicídio por motivo fútil.
