O acidente ocorreu na tarde desse domingo (1º).

De acordo com a Polícia Militar Rodoviária, os passageiros eram de uma excursão religiosa. O veículo tinha saído de Tambaú (SP) e seguia sentido Monte Alto.

Duas equipes dos bombeiros, uma da Polícia Militar Rodoviária e dez viaturas do Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) estiveram no local para socorro das vítimas.

Até o momento, sete pessoas foram identificadas:

  • Tereza Amélia Salles dos Santos, de 60 anos
  • Maria Aparecida dos Santo, de 55
  • Lindalci Ribeiro da Silva, de 50 anos
  • Maria de Fátima Batistella Fumes
  • Paulo dos Santos
  • Idalina Ribeiro Neves

O prefeito de Tambaú, Leonardo Spiga Real, disse, nas redes sociais, que o grupo deixou a cidade após assistir à missa no Santuário Nossa Senhora Aparecida do Beato Donizetti. “Nossos mais sinceros sentimentos aos familiares desse terrível acidente”, disse o prefeito.
