Segundo a mãe da vítima, o homem arremessou um sapato contra a enteada de 10 anos e atingiu o bebê.

Conforme o registro do caso, a ocorrência aconteceu em uma casa na Rua Ramos de Azevedo, região central da cidade.

Em depoimento à polícia, a mãe das crianças contou que o companheiro discutiu com a filha dela de 10 anos. Em meio a briga, ele teria jogado um tamanco na direção da menina, mas o objeto atingiu a cabeça do bebê.

O menino sofreu um corte profundo e a mãe o socorreu à Santa Casa de Misericórdia. No local, o médico realizou exames e constatou um traumatismo craniano com lesão perfuro cortante. O corte foi suturado e após os atendimentos, o bebê foi liberado.

A Polícia Militar (PM) atendeu a ocorrência, mas o autor do crime fugiu antes da equipe chegar.

O Conselho Tutelar também foi acionado e acompanhou a mãe da vítima durante o registro da ocorrência de agressão.
