O serviço faz parte do Programa “Água na Torneira” – Programa Municipal de troca contínua e modernização da rede de abastecimento na cidade, lançado pelo prefeito Chico Sardelli.

No trecho, o DAE Americana irá substituir, aproximadamente, 100 metros de rede antiga, de ferro fundido, por tubulação de PVC, de 50 milímetros de diâmetro, material mais resistente. A previsão é de concluir as obras em sete dias, segundo a autarquia.

Com o Programa “Água na Torneira“, serão viabilizadas trocas preventivas da rede de abastecimento de água visando a melhora na qualidade da prestação de serviço. A programação do DAE conta também nesta terça-feira com aproximadamente outros 50 serviços pelas ruas de Americana.
