Dois médicos foram ameaçados por dois pacientes, que levaram consigo suas respectivas fichas de atendimento.

Segundo a Secretaria Municipal de Saúde, as ações dos pacientes, que causaram princípio de tumulto, prejudicaram o atendimento da população na UPA, já que os dois médicos ameaçados suspenderam suas atividades até a chegada da polícia e da Guarda Municipal. O atendimento de pacientes não prioritários (sem risco) foi paralisado por quase uma hora.

O atendimento, que ocorria dentro da normalidade para pacientes não prioritários (em até 1h30), passou a demorar mais de 2h.

A Secretaria de Saúde lamenta a situação e informa que uma equipe da GCM segue na unidade para manter a segurança dos profissionais de saúde e garantir aos pacientes que cheguem na unidade sejam atendidos normalmente.
