O caso aconteceu por volta das 10h50 na Rua Celina Cavalheiro Francisquetti.

De acordo com a Polícia Militar (PM), a vítima estava caminhando a pé pela rua quando um veículo da prefeitura deu marcha a ré e atingiu a mesma. A mulher foi socorrida pela ambulância até a Santa Casa de Limeira com ferimentos graves, mas por volta das 12h entrou em óbito.

No local Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM) e a Polícia Militar (PM) monitoraram o trânsito até a Perícia realizar os procedimentos necessários. O caso foi registrado na Polícia Civil de Limeira (PM) e ninguém foi detido.

A Prefeitura Municipal de Engenheiro Coelho informa e lamenta o ocorrido.

Tomando conhecimento do falecimento da Sra. Nair da Silva Bernardo dos Santos, após um acidente de trânsito nesta manhã de quarta-feira (25), envolvendo um veículo oficial da prefeitura.

Logo que tomou conhecimento do acidente, o executivo deslocou uma equipe para acompanhar e dar toda a assistência aos envolvidos nesta fatalidade e todo apoio será dado a família neste momento tão difícil.

A prefeitura informa, também, que abrirá procedimento administrativo para apurar as responsabilidades e que todas as medidas administrativas cabíveis serão tomadas pela prefeitura.

Um Boletim de Ocorrência (B.O.) foi registrado na Delegacia de Polícia para apurar as causas do acidente.

O executivo decretou luto oficial de três dias no município.
