O caso é investigado pelo setor de homicídios da Polícia Civil (PC).

De acordo com o boletim de ocorrência, por volta das 10h, guardas municipais encontraram o corpo de uma mulher em um barracão abandonado na via férrea, próxima à entrada de ônibus para o Terminal Rodoviário.

O corpo tinha lesões na região da nuca, atrás da orelha esquerda e também no braço esquerdo. A mulher é parda, tem entre 30 e 40 anos de idade, cerca de 1,65 m de altura e estava vestida com uma blusa estampada, com uma camiseta preta e bermuda cinza. A vítima possuí também tatuagens na coxa esquerda (um coração com uma flecha) e na canela esquerda (uma fada em cima de um cogumelo).

Depois do trabalho da perícia, o corpo da mulher foi removido pela Setec. O caso foi registrado como homicídio e é investigado.
