Os disparos ocorreram durante uma tentativa de roubo.

O policial dirigia pelo local quando viu uma família ser abordada por dois criminosos em uma moto em frente à uma empresa de reciclagem. A troca de tiros teve início em seguida.

Um dos suspeitos foi socorrido e levado ao Hospital Estadual de Sumaré (SP) e o outro fugiu, mas foi encontrado morto nas proximidades. O policial sofreu ferimentos leves na mão, recebeu atendimento médico e foi liberado.

Segundo a Polícia Militar, o homem já era procurado pelas equipes por ter ameaçado diversas mulheres de morte com faca. Na manhã de hoje (27), uma das vítimas foi abordada após sair de uma academia.

Os policiais foram acionados e conseguira  encontrá-lo. Uma arma foi apreendida. A ocorrência está sendo apresentada na 2ª Delegacia Seccional de Campinas.
