De acordo com a PM, uma equipe de Força Tática fez a prisão por volta das 19h30, na região do bairro Vila Cristovam. O homem foi detido na porta de casa na Rua São Vicente de Paulo, assim que chegou do trabalho em uma van.

Após a captura, a equipe conduziu o criminoso até a Santa Casa do município para exames cautelares e em seguida, para o plantão policial. Ele ficou preso para cumprimento da pena, que é de 13 e sete meses em regime fechado.
