Ele agiu junto com um comparsa, que conseguiu fugir.

Os policiais receberam a informação de que dois homens haviam roubado um Jetta branco na Rua Nelson Alexandre, no Jardim Alvorada em Hortolândia.

Através de um sistema de monitoramento, a PM conseguiu encontrar o veículo na Rodovia Governador Adhemar Pereira de Barros (SP-340), em Jaguariúna, na altura do km 137.

No local, os militares encontraram o veículo em alta velocidade. O condutor tentou fugir cruzando o canteiro central.

Neste momento, um dos ocupantes do Jetta pulou do carro em movimento e fugiu. O condutor estacionou e também fugiu a pé. No carro ficaram duas vítimas.

De acordo com apuração do Policial Padrão, os criminosos renderam as vítimas em Hortolândia. Pelo menos um dos assaltantes estava armado e fez ameaças contra elas. Porém, nenhum dos reféns se feriu na ocorrência.

Logo depois, os policiais realizaram buscas na região e encontraram um dos bandidos, além de uma arma. Posteriormente, as vítimas fizeram o reconhecimento.

O criminoso foi preso e levado ao Distrito Policial (DP) de Hortolândia. O segundo bandido continua foragido.
