Conforme apuração do Policial Padrão, a abordagem ao veículo aconteceu por volta das 13h30, no Jardim Empyreo. Os PMs estavam em patrulhamento pela Avenida Sebastião Rodrigues de Lara, quando um Volkswagen Gol em alta velocidade quase bateu na viatura.

O carro parou após alguns metros e a equipe abordou três menores, dois de 15 e um de 16 anos. Eles não tinham nada ilegal, mas a pesquisa revelou que o carro tinha sido furtado em 13 de janeiro deste ano, em Pirassununga (SP).  

Já o adolescente que estava na direção, alegou que comprou o veículo por R$ 1,5 mil há cerca de cinco meses, sem fornecer maiores detalhes.

A polícia encaminhou os três adolescentes para o plantão policial e registrou o caso de receptação. Após prestarem depoimento, todos ficaram sob responsabilidade dos pais.

O carro foi devolvido ao proprietário.
