Segundo informações do boletim de ocorrência, a negociação teve início no dia 12 de junho e se estendeu até esta quarta.
De acordo com relatos das partes envolvidas, a proprietária do veículo, realizou a negociação inicial com um indivíduo identificado como Mauro, na cidade de Araraquara (SP). Durante a transação, ela recebeu o valor de R$ 21 mil em um cheque. Momentos depois, foi constatado que o cheque não tinha fundos, configurando o estelionato.

O veículo teria sido revendido por Mauro para uma outra pessoa, que também foi vítima do esquema fraudulento, segundo depoimento dela.

Todas as partes envolvidas foram conduzidas ao Plantão Policial de Nova Odessa. O veículo e os cheques foram apreendidos. Após prestarem suas versões dos fatos, as partes foram liberadas.

As investigações continuam a fim de apurar os detalhes do esquema de estelionato.
