A Delegacia de Investigações Gerais (DIG) prendeu um homem por tráfico de drogas, na Praia Azul em Americana (SP), na noite desta quarta-feira (31). Antes da prisão, houve perseguição e o suspeito sofreu ferimentos leves ao bater o carro que conduzia contra um poste de iluminação.

A Polícia Civil deflagrou uma operação com o objetivo de identificar o proprietário de um Ônix envolvido em vários crimes na região. Durante a ação, os policiais tentaram abordar o condutor do veículo, porém, ele não obedeceu a ordem de parada e fugiu.

Na sequência, o acompanhamento começou e seguiu por várias ruas do bairro. Após cerca de 20 minutos, o motorista do carro perdeu o controle da direção e colidiu contra um poste e o muro de um imóvel.

Com o apoio da Polícia Militar (PM) e da Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM), o rapaz foi detido. Ele sofreu algumas escoriações e foi medicado no Hospital Municipal.

No interior do carro, os agentes localizaram 75 pedras de crack, 28 pinos com cocaína, R$ 472 e outros objetos. O homem foi encaminhado para a sede da DIG, onde o homem permaneceu preso.
