Casal é detido por tráfico de drogas em Piracicaba

Um casal foi detido pela Polícia Militar (PM) por tráfico de drogas, na madrugada desta segunda-feira (12), no Jardim Irapuã em Piracicaba (SP).

A equipe estava em patrulhamento quando visualizou o Honda Civic no contrafluxo. Ao ver os policiais, o condutor mudou de sentido e um acompanhamento começou, até o momento da abordagem.

O casal foi detido na Rua Maria de Lourdes Rocha Stolf, quando o condutor perdeu o controle do veículo e o pneu estourou. Embaixo do banco do motorista, os policiais encontraram um tijolo de maconha e porções da mesma droga já embaladas para venda.

Segundo a polícia, o condutor do veiculo é reincidente nos crimes de tráfico de drogas, receptação e roubo. Já a parceira dele, afirmou que apenas acompanhava o namorado.

A dupla foi levada ao Distrito Policial (DP). Apenas a mulher foi liberada. As drogas foram apreendidas.
