Equipes do 10° Batalhão de Ações Especiais de Polícia (Baep) prenderam um homem e apreenderam 138 tijolos de maconha escondidos dentro de um sofá, na manhã desta terça-feira (23), em Americana (SP).

A apreensão ocorreu na região do bairro Praia Azul, dentro de uma residência. Segundo a Polícia Militar (PM), a equipe fazia um patrulhamento na área, em busca de um foragido da Justiça, quando um pedestre tentou fugir ao ver a viatura.

O suspeito foi perseguido pelos PMs e entrou em diversas casas, até ser encontrado com a ajuda de cães farejadores. As drogas estavam no sofá da residência onde o homem foi encontrado.

O caso está sendo registrado na Delegacia de Investigações Sobre Entorpecentes (Dise) de Americana.
