Na noite de sexta-feira (22), durante patrulhamento pela Praça Da Fraternidade, Jardim Da Paz, Americana, uma equipe da Polícia Militar prendeu em flagrante um criminoso por tráfico de drogas.

No local, os policiais militares visualizaram um homem revirando um arbusto, e imediatamente realizaram a abordagem. Ao perceber a presença dos militares, o criminoso tentou fugir, porém foi detido.

Durante a busca pessoal, os policiais localizaram a quantia de R$ 229,00 em notas diversas. No arbusto, foi encontrada uma sacola plástica verde contendo 42 embalagens de cocaína. Perguntado sobre a origem da droga, o homem informou que não era de sua propriedade, tampouco soube explicar a origem do dinheiro.

Diante das circunstâncias, foi dada voz de prisão em flagrante ao criminoso e, posteriormente, conduzido ao Plantão local. A autoridade competente confirmou a prisão em flagrante pelo crime de tráfico de drogas.
